Rebranding of 5S Practise Towards Condusive Ecosystem In Public Sector Workshop

On 27 th February 2020, a hundred and seven (107) staff of the Bursar Office attended the Rebranding of 5s Practise Towards Condusive Ecosystem In Public Sector workshop on 27 th February 2020 at Dewan Taklimat Serdang. The workshop was led by Encik Ridzuan bin Muhammad from Inokreatif Q Consultant. The aim of the workshop was to provide guidance and reference for launching the 5s practice branding process for the public sector conducive ecosystem (EKSA) at the Bursar Office.

The EKSA initiated by MAMPU (Malaysian Administrative Modernization and Management Planning Unit) is a rebranding of the public sector 5s practice implementation. Specifically, this rebranding is implemented to :
a) Improve corporate image.
b) Promote activities towards creating a green environment through Go Green culture.
c) Promote creativity and innovation activities in line with stakeholder demands.
d) Expanding implementation in government agencies.
e) Ensure that audit elements meet the needs of the various government organizations/agencies.

The one day workshop was divided into 3 divisions where participants were briefed on the Public Sector 5s Practice Guide (2010), review of EKSA evaluation component and Practical Activities. The Practical Activities were conducted at the Finance Section of the TNCPI Office and the Central Management Operation Financial Division (COD) to demonstrate EKSA that could be practiced in the office. 

It was a meaningful workshop to all the participants in gaining knowledge and guidance to make EKSA a reality at Bursar Office.
