SERDANG, 2 September 2021 – Recognizing the increasingly active efforts of Sahabat Masjid (Friends of the Mosque) in organizing welfare programs for the local Serdang community — involving UPM staff, students, and mosque congregants — YBhg. Dato’ Zulkiflee bin Othman, UPM Bursar, made a personal contribution of two used notebooks in a brief handover ceremony held at the Bursar's Office Meeting Room on 2 September 2021.

At the ceremony, Sahabat Masjid, represented by Mr. Bukryman bin Sabri — Chairman of Sahabat Masjid UPM and Associate Fellow (Relations and Welfare) at the Vice Chancellor’s Office — graciously accepted the sincere donation from Dato’ Bursar.

Mr. Bukryman expressed that the contribution was a meaningful gesture of appreciation from YBhg. Dato’, symbolizing his continuous support for the various initiatives run by Sahabat Masjid to aid those in need. With the addition of these notebooks, more programs are expected to be planned, engaging broader participation in the future.

Also present at the event were the former Chairman of the Bursar’s Sports and Welfare Club (KSKB), Mr. Mohd Hafiz bin Amrullah, along with the new KSKB committee members for the 2021–2023 term, who were holding their handover session at the same time.
