Serdang, February 11, 2022 – Every year, the Vice Chancellor’s Address is one of the most awaited events by all staff and students of Universiti Putra Malaysia, as they look forward to hearing the Vice Chancellor’s new year message to the entire campus community, whether in Serdang, Bintulu, or Port Dickson. This year, the event was rebranded as the Vice Chancellor’s Narrative Address and was held on February 11, 2022, at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre, or the Main Hall, UPM. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, with a limited physical presence and a live broadcast via UPM’s Facebook.

The Revenue Generation Section of the Bursar’s Office took the opportunity to participate in the exhibition during the event to promote UPM's Special Registration Number, offering an exclusive promotion. Among the promotions offered is a 25% discount from the price listed on the system at http://www.putrabid.upm.edu.my/. This promotion will be available from February 11, 2022, 9:00 AM until February 16, 2022, 12:00 PM.

Additionally, the Revenue Generation Section also took the opportunity to promote the limited edition UPM Gold Bar, which was released to commemorate the 50th Anniversary (Golden Jubilee) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This promotion will end on March 31, 2022. The 1-gram gold bar, with a purity of Au 999.9, is offered at a price of RM350.00 only.

UPM staff and the public who are interested can place orders by scanning the QR code. For UPM staff making orders, the payment process can be carried out via salary deduction, according to the terms and conditions set.
