Serdang, 13 May 2025 – The Occupational Safety and Health Management Office (PPKKP) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) will conduct the 2025 Safety and Health Inspection (PKK) at the Bursar’s Office on Thursday, 5 June 2025, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.

The objective of this inspection is to ensure that each Responsibility Centre (PTJ) complies with occupational safety and health standards at the workplace. It is also part of the annual Occupational Safety and Health Month celebration.

In preparation for this inspection and to ensure optimal compliance with safety and health regulations, the Bursar’s Office will conduct an Internal Audit from 13 to 15 May 2025, covering the following areas:

Centralized Operations Financial Management Division (BPOB)

These officers have been appointed by the Bursar’s Office to carry out a comprehensive inspection and provide recommendations for improvements in the respective areas.

This proactive initiative is part of the Bursar’s Office’s commitment to ensuring full compliance with all occupational safety and health procedures and serves as thorough preparation ahead of the formal inspection by PPKKP.

It is hoped that this audit will help ensure that the safety and health standards for staff at the Bursar’s Office are well maintained. All staff are reminded to remain alert and ensure their workspaces are safe and orderly in preparation for the inspection.

Staff are also requested to provide full cooperation throughout the internal audit process to ensure it runs smoothly and that all safety and health standards are upheld.

The Bursar’s Office is also determined to maintain its title as a Safe Workplace, which is one of the key components in the upcoming UPM-Level HKIP (Innovation and Integrity Day) Competition scheduled for 2026.
