SERDANG – 23 September 2025: The Bursar’s Office, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), received a courtesy visit from the Human Resource and Administrative Services Division of the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) for a knowledge-sharing session on asset management. The session took place on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, starting at 10:00 AM at the Main Meeting Room, Bursar’s Office.

The session began with a welcoming speech by Mrs. Nur Asriati binti Jasmi, Head of the Staff Asset and Facilities Management Division (BPAKS), and was attended by staff members from the Asset Management Section.

LADA was represented by eight participants from their Human Resource and Administrative Services Division, led by Mr. Ahmad Fuad bin Ishak, Manager of the division.

The primary objective of this visit was to share knowledge and experiences regarding asset management procedures at both agencies, as well as to gain insights for improving asset management practices. Among the topics discussed were asset receiving modules, asset registration, asset disposal, asset inspection, asset reporting, and other related matters. During the discussion, LADA informed that they currently utilize an Asset Management System provided by Censof as their asset management platform.

This session proved to be beneficial for both agencies, offering valuable insights and opportunities for enhancement of asset management practices at their respective institutions. The session concluded with the presentation of a souvenir to LADA representatives as a token of appreciation, followed by a group photo session involving both LADA and BPAKS, UPM.
