Serdang, 13 August 2025 – The Finance and Procurement Management Division, Bursar’s Office, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), held a Sharing Session on Financial and Technical Evaluation Methods for Procurement through Quotation and Tender on 13 August 2025 at the Main Meeting Room, Bursar’s Office, Canselori Putra Building, UPM.

The session began with welcoming remarks from the UPM Bursar, Puan Siti Amira binti Shukor; Head of the Finance and Procurement Management Division (BKPP), Puan Noraini binti Abdullah; former Heads of BKPP; staff of BKPP; staff of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Hospital (HSAAS); as well as staff from Universiti Putra Malaysia Sarawak.

The Universiti Malaya (UM) delegation was led by Mr. Mohd Anies bin Sazali, Director of the Procurement Centre, Department of Financial Services, Bursar’s Office, Universiti Malaya, together with three (3) other officers who support the implementation of financial management at UM.

The objective of this session was to share experiences and best practices related to financial management at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Universiti Malaya (UM), particularly in the financial and technical evaluation methods for procurement through quotation and tender.

Throughout the sharing session, both parties engaged in discussions on many financial management topics, including procurement planning, procurement challenges, determination of price indicators, treasury circulars in procurement, and several other financial issues.

The session concluded with words of appreciation from both universities, expressing hope that strategic collaboration between the two institutions will continue in strengthening financial governance and resource management effectiveness.

BKPP, Bursar’s Office UPM, extends its sincere appreciation to Universiti Malaya for their willingness to share knowledge and experiences, and hopes that this good relationship will continue to be strengthened for mutual excellence.
