Benchmarking Return Visit on EKSA by iDEC to the UPM Bursar's Office

Serdang, 26 June 2026 – The Bursar's Office, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), welcomed a delegation from the Information Development and Communication Centre (iDEC) for an Ecosystem for Public Sector Conduciveness (EKSA) Benchmarking Return Visit on Friday, 26 June 2026, from 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. The visit was held at the Centralised Payment and Operations Division (BPOB), UPM Bursar's Office.

The visit aimed to facilitate the sharing of best practices and experiences in the implementation of EKSA while strengthening collaborative ties among Responsibility Centres (PTJs) within UPM. During the session, the iDEC delegation was given a briefing on EKSA implementation at BPOB, covering workplace management, the establishment of the EKSA corner, documentation, innovation, and the continuous improvement initiatives undertaken by the staff of the Bursar's Office.

As part of the programme, the delegation toured the BPOB facilities to observe the practical implementation of EKSA elements, with particular emphasis on cleanliness, organisation, safety, creativity, innovation, and green practices. The visit also included a two-way discussion session, providing both parties with the opportunity to exchange views, share ideas, and discuss effective approaches to strengthening a quality work culture through EKSA implementation.

The programme is expected to serve as a valuable knowledge-sharing platform and inspire both Responsibility Centres to further enhance EKSA implementation in a more systematic, creative, and sustainable manner. The visit also reflects UPM's continued commitment to fostering a conducive, efficient, and continuously improving work environment in support of excellence in service delivery.

The visit concluded with a group photography session and the presentation of commemorative tokens as a gesture of appreciation and a symbol of the strong collaborative relationship between iDEC and the UPM Bursar's Office.
