SERDANG, 6 February 2024 - The Financial Digitization Committee of the Bursar's Office is of the view that advanced training sessions for Bursar's Office members should be implemented to identify problems and strengthen the knowledge of Bursar's Office members regarding the use of the New Financial System consisting of the Putra Finance System and the E-Claims System
The training was carried out in 2 sessions, namely the morning session and the afternoon session on February 6, 2024 at the Computer Laboratory, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and was attended by a total of 120 Bursar Office staff consisting of various levels of positions and performing tasks related to procurement and payment management
This advanced training was delivered by 2 speakers namely Puan Noraini binti Abdullah and Puan Yusnawati binti Mat Isa. Puan Noraini has shared knowledge and information regarding the accurate and correct use of purchasing and payable modules to all financial administrative assistants, assistant accountants and financial officers and received positive feedback and questions for the improvement of process implementation in in the Putra Finance system
Puan Yusnawati explained the use of the E-Claims System as well as the methods of filling in the system by avoiding as many errors as can be triggered by the system. Positive feedback was also received from the members of the Bursar's Office who attended
This training session was also attended by 3 system vendor representatives to help answer any questions from the Bursar's Office
