SERDANG: 13 AUGUST 2020 - The Bursar Office held a Briefing on Outsourcing Contract at the Management Economics Lecture Hall (DKEP-1), Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
Outsourcing Contract Briefing is a course organized by the Procurement Management Financial Division (BKPP), Bursar Office to all Contract Administrators involved in managing contracts that have been handed over for outsourcing in UPM.
Realizing the importance of Contract Administrators to understand their role in the management of delivery service contracts in UPM, this briefing was held to provide information to the Contract Administrators involved about their roles and responsibilities for the contracts that have been submitted in UPM.
The Contract Administrator plays a very important role in ensuring that the management of the delivery services for each service in UPM is well administered, including to ensure that all conditions and clauses in the contract are complied with and monitored.
The briefing which lasted for half a day received a very encouraging response and was attended by almost 90 representatives of Contract Administrators from all Responsibility Centers.
The Head of BKPP briefed all Contract Administrators by explaining about the general procurement of contract management and the role of Contract Administrator / Sub Contract Administrator, clauses and conditions of the contract and ended with a question and answer session
