BURSAR OFFICE URGES ON DUITNOW'S QR CODE METHOD TO PTJ

Serdang, February 16 – It is undeniable that in line with the new norms triggered by the pandemic situation that hit the country 3 years ago, the use of cashless payment or acceptance methods has become a phenomenon that is jumping directly not only to businesses but also to the services of Government agencies and Statutory Bodies. UPM also does not miss the opportunity to join this wave so that the services offered by UPM can be enjoyed by all stake holders smoothly without the problem of cash in hand. Therefore, a briefing organized by the Revenue Management and Credit Control Section, Bursar's Office was held at the Serdang Briefing Hall, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The briefing entitled Responsibility Center Revenue Collection Through Duitnow's QR Code Method involved the participation of representatives from responsibility centers at UPM who are directly involved in the provision of services and product sales.
The opening briefing was delivered by Pn. Mazitah bt. Ahmad, Head of Student Finance and Revenue Management Division. He commented in general about the existing revenue collection situation, in terms of revenue collection control and monitoring. He insisted that all parties maintain integrity in transactions and the reality of revenue collection which needs to keep up with the times and move towards cashless revenue collection.
The next briefing was delivered by Pn. Norhaslizah bt. For example, the Head of the Revenue Management and Credit Control Section, which focuses specifically on Duitnow's QR Code usage procedures. This covers the initial steps of QR code registration, how to use and record transactions. PTJ parties who need it can register for Duitnow's QR Code application by filling in the form distributed during the briefing.
The briefing on the day ended with a question and answer session which was well received by PTJ representatives. The Revenue Management and Credit Control Section is very satisfied with the response from PTJ who attended and hopes that the briefing delivered will be beneficial to all parties
