SERDANG, 13 October 2023 - The Treasurer's Sports and Welfare Club (KSKB), the Bursar's Office for the 2021/2023 session has organized a special dinner to celebrate all KSKB members which was held in a grand manner at Dewan Renjana By Lanai, Mercure Living Hotel, Putrajaya . The ceremony, which had the theme of 'Contemporary Malay Fashion', was attended by almost 160 people including the presence of family members as well as some retirees who have completed their service at the Bursar's Office throughout the year 2021 until 2023. Among the retirees who were specially invited to attend included Mrs. Norlian Ismail, Mr. Ngadinas Bin Hussin and his wife Puan Siti Eshah Binti Othman, Puan Aziah Binti Noh and many others.
That night, the ceremony began with a prayer from Encik Azrul Bin Muhammad Juni before continuing with a speech by the Chairman of KSKB, Encik Azahari Bin Mohamad. The highlight of the event was the opening speech from the Patron of KSKB who is also the Bursar, UPM Bursar's Office, Mrs. Hajah Izariahwati Binti Mohd Isa who expressed her happiness at being able to be together in a ceremony that has not been held for a long time due to the spread of the Covid- 19 before.
The ceremony was further brightened up with performances from three (3) groups which are a combination of several financial sections who are so committed to giving the best performances and on average the guests present are very satisfied with the performances given including in terms of the presentation concept , creativity and styled fashion. A gift exchange event was also included throughout the ceremony for all KSKB members as well as the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation for the Achievements of Bursar Office Staff at the UPM Staff Games (SUSTAF) in 2023.
The highlight of the night was the presentation of prizes for the Best Dressed Boys (Kids), Best Dressed Girls (Children), Best Dressed Boys (Adults), Best Dressed Women (Adults) and also the announcement of the Best Performance categories. Mr. Mohd Hazwan Habali and Mrs. Nurul Nazaton Binti Abd Aziz from the Administration Section were announced as the winners for the best dress while the combination of the Bursar 1 Office with the Student Finance Section, the Chancellery Finance Section and the HSAAS Finance Section won the best presentation category. Bursar 2's office is in second place and third place belongs to a combination of the Centralized Operations Management Finance Section (BPOB) together with the FPSK Finance Section, the Engineering Faculty Finance Section, the Research Finance Section and the Veterinary Faculty Finance Section. The ceremony ended and dispersed at almost 11 pm.
