SERDANG, 31 July 2023 – One of the last sports events in the Universiti Putra Malaysia Staff Sports Tournament (SUSTAF) 2023 is the Tenpin Bowling tournament (Men & Women). A group of 8 consisting of representatives from the Bursar's Office and several other PTJs did not miss the opportunity to show their talent through the participation of 8 staff representing a team of men and women. The high fighting spirit among the participants did not let the team down when they managed to win the double champion that Gabungan 8 is proud of.

The Men's Tenpin Bowling team retained the championship for the third time in a row while the Women's team managed to become the champion for the first time in SUSTAF. A total of 2001 pinfalls put the Men's team ahead of other teams including runner-up Combined 1 with a total of 1907 pinfalls, a difference of 94 pinfalls.

The Women's Tenpin Bowling team managed to become the Champion with a narrow victory of 4 pins, i.e. 1769 pinfalls, defeating the Runner-up Combined 3 who had 1765 pinfalls.

The Bursar's Office represented by Mr. Mohd Asri Abdullah together with 3 other members from other PTJs for the Men's Tenpin Bowling team, while the Women's Tenpin Bowling team was represented by Mrs. Nor Azima binti Abdul Malek and Ms. Nor Maizurida binti Ibrahim together with 2 other representatives from other PTJs in Combination 8.

The 2023 SUSTAF Tenpin Bowling Competition was held on 29 July 2023 at KL Megalanes Endah Parade, Sri Petaling giving a meaningful moment to the next Coalition 8 to the Bursar's Office in general. May this spirit of sportsmanship flow through the veins of every athlete who participates in all SUSTAF sports events until the climax
