FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION FOR EXCELLENT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARDS AND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT STAR RATING (SCOPE OF KKP)

Serdang, 25 October 2022 – The Bursar's Office has been selected in the final list by the UPM Workplace Inspection Committee for the Follow-up Inspection of the Excellent Occupational Safety and Health Award and Administrative Management Star Rating (Skop KKP) in conjunction with HKIP 2022. A total of 9 Responsibility Centers (PTJ) including the Office Bursar also competes for the Outstanding Occupational Safety and Health Award and the Administrative Management Star Rating (Skop KKP). A follow-up inspection at the Bursar's Office was held on 25 October 2022 (9am) by a two-person assessment panel consisting of officers from the Occupational Safety and Health Management Office. Inspections were carried out at two locations that house scheduled waste, namely at the Administrative Store and at the Financial Division of Centralized Operations Management.

In order to give an understanding of the importance of Scheduled Waste Management (E-Waste) in the office in a more environmentally friendly manner, the Safety and Health Committee of the Bursar's Office has taken the initiative by making announcements about the Awareness Campaign About the Importance of Scheduled Waste Management (E-Waste) as contained in Environmental Quality (Scheduled Disposal) Regulations 2005, Environmental Quality Act 1974 (Act 127) in the First Schedule (Regulation2). The method used is via email and uploaded on the Bursar's Office website.
Hopefully with the support and concern of the employees, the Bursar's Office will successfully pass this inspection with flying colors..
