Serdang, 24 February 2023- The Asset Management Finance Division (BKPA), Bursar's Office has taken the initiative to hold a Store Management Briefing on 24 February 2023 to UPM's Central Responsibility Store Officers (PTJ).

This Store Management Briefing is an annual agenda that is always given by the Asset Management Finance Division, Bursar's Office to all Store Officers, especially newly appointed officers. It aims to ensure that the officers responsible for store management at PTJ have a clear understanding of their role and can carry out their responsibilities well and comply with the regulations in force.

The workshop was delivered by Mrs. Nur Hazwani binti Abd Aziz, Assistant Treasurer and Mrs. Junaidah binti Md Isa, Assistant Treasurer from the Finance Division of Asset Management, Bursar's Office located in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Also participating in the workshop was the Head of the Asset Management Finance Division, Mr. Mohd 'Akhi bin Abu Bakar. It is estimated that more than 200 participants participated in this briefing consisting of Store Officers and PTJ representatives from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Serdang, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Teaching Hospital (HPSAAS) and also from UPM Bintulu Campus.

The participants involved have been briefed directly on store management procedures which include the types of stores, stock receipt process, stock recording and registration, stock storage, stock disposal, stock inspection, stock adjustment and stock loss and write-off.

It is hoped that with this briefing, everything can help give a more detailed understanding of store management procedures to newly appointed and existing PTJ Store Officers.
