SERDANG-30 November 2023: The closing of annual accounts is an obligation that cannot be left out for departments that manage finances whether in Government or private agencies. The only thing that differentiates the implementation is the application of different accounting standards in each agency. In 2023, the UPM Bursar's Office did not miss out on this activity, but slightly different from the previous year, this year the Bursar's Office invited all Responsibility Centers to attend the account closing briefing delivered by several Heads of Divisions responsible for the University's main financial management.

The briefing which started at 9.00 am was attended by a total of 271 participants consisting of financial clerks up to the level of Administrative Officers of all PTJ at UPM Serdang and UPM Bintulu Campus face to face at the Auditorium Hall, Rashdan Baba Complex and online through the google meet platform

The briefing began with a prayer recitation delivered by Mr. Mohamad Hafiz bin Amrullah and chaired by Mrs. Junaida Adan.

The topics presented by the Heads of Divisions are as follows:
Speaker 1 : Puan Nur Asriati Binti Jasmi (Closing of Accounts in 2023)

Speaker 2 : Puan Yusnawati Binti Mat Isa (Payment Management)

Speaker 3: Mr. Mohd 'Akhi bin Abu Bakar (Asset, Store & Work Order Management)

Speaker 4 : Puan Mazitah Binti Ahmad (Revenue & Debt Management)

The briefing, which received a great response, ended at 11.30 am after several questions submitted by the participants were answered in detail by the speaker.
