Serdang, 14 September 2023 - Cycling is indeed one of the sports activities that are healthy and give the body freshness to fans of this sport. The Green Sustainability Committee, Bursar's Office is very pleased to receive an invitation from Dr. Nurul Izza Ab Ghani as Head of the R@U Program to hold a program with the Centralized Operations Management Finance Division (BPOB) on 14 September 2023 as one of the awareness campaign activities in an effort to make the public aware of the dangers of plastic pollution and promote plastic recycling activities.

The Recycling@U (R@U) program in collaboration with Coca-Cola Malaysia was presented by the Head of the Biology Department, Faculty of Science, namely Prof. Ahmad Ismail who is the project manager with students from the faculty to make the campus a cycling zone and instill a more active lifestyle.

It is estimated that a total of 25 people from the Bursar's Office participated in this program at the Finance Division of Centralized Operations Management (BPOB) and completed a survey question titled "Awareness of the Dangers of Plastic Pollution and the Importance of Recycling@U with UPM Staff" and received a gift from R@ U after the survey is completed. Also present was the Head of the BPOB Division, Mrs. Junaida Adan.

The R@U side also discussed the continuation of the R@U awareness campaign activities that can be carried out continuously with the Green Sustainability Committee, Bursar's Office. A question and answer session and photography with R@U concluded the program this evening.
