BKKP ISO DOCUMENT REFINEMENT WORKSHOP SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED IN SERDANG

Serdang, 8–9 January 2026 – The Finance Division for Procurement Management (BKKP) successfully organised an ISO Document Refinement Workshop held over one and a half days at the Foyer of the Briefing Hall, Serdang. The workshop was attended by 11 staff members and officers from BKKP, reflecting strong commitment towards improving procurement governance and documentation practices.

The workshop commenced with welcoming remarks delivered by Ms. Ana Azrin, followed by a prayer recited by Mr. Muhammad Hilmi to seek blessings and ensure the smooth running of the programme. This was followed by an opening address by the Head of BKKP, who outlined the objectives of the workshop and emphasised the importance of refining ISO documents to enhance efficiency, compliance, and standardisation in procurement processes.

A total of 24 ISO documents were reviewed during the workshop, with participants divided into three working groups. Discussions focused on the formulation of general specifications for several types of services and supplies. In addition, a proposal was put forward to establish a Google Site to centrally display procurement-related information for ease of reference and accessibility.

After all documents were amended on the first day, each group presented their proposed revisions for review. Following further refinement by the Head of the Division, the finalised clean documents were prepared and securely stored in a designated Google Drive repository. Overall, the workshop successfully achieved its objectives and contributed positively to strengthening BKKP’s procurement management framework.
