SERDANG, 14 May 2026 – The Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Committee of the Bursar Office organized an EKSA Benchmarking Visit outside Universiti Putra Malaysia to broaden knowledge and strengthen understanding among committee members on the implementation of a conducive and systematic working environment through observation of EKSA practices in external agencies. Accordingly, the committee selected Majlis Perbandaran Sepang as the benchmarking destination to enhance participants’ understanding and encourage more effective and systematic EKSA implementation.
The programme was held on 14 May 2026 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon at the Sepang Municipal Council in Cyberjaya. A total of 25 participants, comprising the EKSA Chairperson, committee members, and zone representatives from the Bursar Office, took part in the visit. The programme aimed to provide direct exposure to effective EKSA implementation through the sharing of best practices, organised workspace management, and the integration of innovation and creativity in the office environment. It also served as a platform for sharing ideas and best practices that could be applied at the Bursar Office.
The delegation was warmly received by Tuan Mohd Faizal bin Abdul Raji, Deputy President of the Sepang Municipal Council, who welcomed the participants and expressed hope that the visit would strengthen cooperation between both organisations in enhancing EKSA implementation.
The visit began with a briefing by Tuan Mohd Faizal bin Abdul Raji, followed by a question-and-answer session. Participants were then taken on a tour of various EKSA zones within the council. During the visit, participants observed the creativity and innovation practised at the council and gained valuable new experiences. They also had the opportunity to visit the IBM Zone (Engineering), Samsung Zone (One-Stop Centre), and the Innovation Centre of the Sepang Municipal Council.
Before the programme concluded, photography sessions were held at each zone visited, and souvenir exchanges were conducted as tokens of appreciation. The visit ended with a lunch reception hosted by the council. Throughout the programme, participants observed EKSA practices involving creativity, innovation, cleanliness, safety, and systematic workplace management, which could be adapted to improve the quality of the working environment at the Bursar Office.
