Serdang, 30 May 2022 – After a two-year hiatus without physical events, the 2022 Putra Excellence Ceremony (Majlis Gemilang Putra UPM) returned in full glory, bringing joy to all award recipients. The ceremony was successfully held on 24 May 2022 (Tuesday) at the Main Hall, PKKSSAAS.

The prestigious ceremony adhered strictly to the government's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), where all attendees were required to update their MySejahtera status, maintain a 1-meter physical distance, and wear face masks, even though the event was held during the endemic phase. A virtual address by UPM Vice-Chancellor, YH. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, reminded all UPM staff to continue striving for excellence and to uphold a high-performance work culture in their daily tasks.

A total of 13 staff members from the Bursar’s Office received the Excellent Service Award, 15 received the Jasa Putra Award, one received the Over 40 Years of Service Award, and one was honored with the Jasamu Dikenang (In Remembrance) Award. The awards were presented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation.

The Bursar’s Office extends its deepest appreciation and congratulations to all its staff members who received these prestigious awards and hopes that all employees will remain committed to performing their duties in the future.

A heartfelt condolence is also extended to the family of the Jasamu Dikenang award recipient from the Bursar’s Office, the late Madam Juliana Mahmood, who passed away on 26 March 2022. May her soul be placed among the righteous and the faithful.
