SERDANG, 11 November 2025 – The Bursar’s Office, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), as the Coordinator of Store Management at UPM, conducted a Store Inspection Briefing on 11 November 2025 (Tuesday) at 9.00 a.m. for all appointed Store Officers and Store Verification Officers from each Responsibility Centre (PTJ). The briefing covered not only stationery stores but also medical and chemical stores at UPM. It was held online as preparation for the annual store verification process and was attended by approximately eighty participants from all PTJs at UPM.
During the briefing, Pn. Junaidah Md Isa, the Store Management Coordinating Officer, emphasized the implementation of the store inspection process, which will take place from 1 October to 31 December 2025 through the e-Stor System. She also shared information on systematic store management, particularly covering aspects such as receiving, recording, storage, issuing, inspection, safety, cleanliness, disposal, loss, and stock write-off. She stressed that good store management not only ensures accurate records but also prevents wastage, minimizes the risk of loss, and ensures compliance with government financial regulations. Meanwhile, for medical and chemical stores, the respective units delivered briefings for their areas.
All PTJs were reminded to submit Forms KEW.PS-10, KEW.PS-11, and KEW.PS-12 to the Bursar’s Office, and all forms must be submitted no later than 5 January 2026. The briefing provided valuable information and supported PTJs in carrying out store verification at their respective centres.
