Serdang, 21 April 2025 – Ongoing efforts to enhance staff understanding of the implementation of the Asset Management System (SPA) continued with the fifth installment of the briefing series held on 21 April 2025 at the Serdang Briefing Room.
This session was specifically organized to strengthen staff knowledge and comprehension of the system’s use. A total of 17 participants representing 13 responsibility centers (PTJ) attended the briefing.
The session was delivered by Ms. Junaida Md Isa from the Asset Management Division (BKPA). She provided a detailed explanation of the system’s functions and operating procedures by covering the four main modules within SPA.
Topics discussed included asset registration, the disposal process, and university asset transfers.
The briefing not only offered comprehensive exposure to the participants but also provided an opportunity for them to ask questions and discuss current issues related to asset management in their respective PTJs.
Such programs are seen as a proactive and significant step in ensuring that every PTJ can carry out asset management more efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with established procedures.
