Serdang, 22 May 2026 – The Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Committee of the Bursar Office organized an EKSA Benchmarking Visit aimed at broadening knowledge and strengthening the committee members’ understanding of the implementation of a conducive and systematic workplace environment. The committee agreed to select Pusat Pembangunan Maklumat dan Komunikasi (iDEC) as the internal benchmarking visit destination, as it is a PTJ within a similar scope to the Bursar Office.
The benchmarking programme was held on 22 May 2026 (Friday) from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon at IDEC Alpha, Putra Infoport. A total of fifteen (15) participants joined the visit, consisting of the Chairperson, Coordinators, EKSA committee members, and representatives from the various zones within the Bursar Office. The visit also aimed to provide direct exposure to participants on effective EKSA implementation through the sharing of best practices, more systematic workspace management, and the incorporation of innovation and creativity elements within the office environment. Through this visit, participants were able to learn and gather ideas to further improve the practices previously implemented at the Bursar Office.
The visit began with a briefing by the iDEC EKSA Coordinator, Pn. Azhana, followed by a question-and-answer session with the participants. Participants were then taken on a tour of every zone within iDEC. During the visit, participants observed the creativity and innovation practiced at iDEC and gained valuable new experiences throughout the programme. Before the visit concluded, photography sessions were held at each zone visited, and souvenirs were exchanged as tokens of appreciation and remembrance. The programme ended with a lunch reception hosted by the organizing team. Throughout the visit, participants had the opportunity to observe the EKSA practices implemented and gain knowledge that could be adapted and practiced at the Bursar Office to further enhance the quality of the working environment.
The organization of this benchmarking visit is hoped to strengthen the commitment of staff members in continuously cultivating EKSA practices towards creating a more efficient, comfortable, and productive workplace environment
