SERDANG, July 7, 2023 - It is normal for life, some people come and go alternately. Such is the fate of the Bursar's Office which will lose a very special person in the hearts of all staff. On a blessed Friday evening which coincides with the date of July 7, 2023, a ceremony was held to honor the virtues of honoring devotion, namely the Retirement Ceremony of Puan Aziah Binti Hj Noh, which was held in the Serdang Briefing Hall Foyer.
This ceremony was celebrated with a lot of fun and meaning by the staff and officers from the Bursar's Office from 3.00 pm
The ceremony started with the presence of all staff and officers at 2.50 pm which was welcomed by the Solicitor of the Ceremony, Mr. Mohd Hafiz Amrullah. After the recitation of the prayer to bless the ceremony was over, Mrs. Bursar was invited to give an opening speech to celebrate the future retirees of the day. The ceremony continued with a speech from the executive staff representative, Mrs. Wan Mirani, and was accompanied by a montage showing the ups and downs of Mrs. Aziah's career at UPM and the Bursar's Office for all staff to see and remember.

Pn Aziah also took the opportunity at this event to give words of appreciation and words of encouragement so that all staff can continue their struggle to make the Bursar's Office win all events contested in the university. The ceremony was brightened up with the cutting of yellow glutinous rice which was formed into a beautiful cake as a symbol of this separation.

While all the staff dined accompanied by recitation of poetry and singing from Puan Suzanawati Ali which was melodious and lulling the feelings, the department representatives took turns to present souvenirs in conjunction with Puan Aziah's retirement. A sad atmosphere enveloped the ceremony with alternating hugs and cries as if disapproving of this separation.

The ceremony ended with the last punch out session by Puan Aziah to mark her last moment as an Administrative Officer at UPM.
