GOTONG ROYONG EKSA NO 2

Serdang, 9 May 2025 – The EKSA 2.0 Premier Gotong-Royong Program organized by the Bursar’s Office was held with the aim of ensuring a conducive, clean working environment aligned with the practices of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) implemented at the Bursar’s Office of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

This program involved active participation from all members of the Bursar’s Office, including top management, officers, and support staff. Among the activities carried out during the gotong-royong (communal work) were cleaning office areas and workspaces, reorganizing workstations, updating document labels, beautifying spaces, and disposing of obsolete items in accordance with EKSA guidelines. The event was also held in preparation for the first phase of EKSA evaluation by external assessors appointed by the Bursar’s Office. This initial evaluation will take place from 7 April to 6 June 2025, involving all departments (PTJs) at UPM, and will contribute 40% to the overall assessment score, with the second phase of evaluation scheduled for 2026.

Through the implementation of this program, not only were cleanliness and tidiness emphasized, but the spirit of cooperation and a culture of teamwork were also strengthened among staff. This aligns with UPM’s aspiration to maintain a professional, systematic, and efficient work environment, in line with the core values of EKSA.

The Bursar’s Office remains committed to upholding best EKSA practices in order to provide excellent service and contribute to the university’s overall administrative excellence.

With the commitment and cooperation of all office personnel, it is hoped that this program will run smoothly and achieve its objective of creating a systematic, organized, and harmonious working environment in accordance with EKSA principles.
