ISO DOCUMENT REVIEW AND REFINEMENT WORKSHOP

SERDANG, 31 March 2026 – The ISO Quality Management System plays a vital role in ensuring that all work processes are carried out in an orderly, systematic manner and in compliance with established standards. Adherence to these standards not only enhances operational efficiency but also ensures transparency and accountability in management, particularly in matters related to financial operations. In this regard, continuous review and improvement of documents are essential to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with current requirements.

In line with this initiative, the ISO Payment Document Review Workshop of the Bursar’s Office was held on 31 March 2026 (Tuesday) and 1 April 2026 (Wednesday), from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The programme took place at the Putra Future Classroom, Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia.

The workshop involved a comprehensive review of 3 procedures, 2 guidelines, 3 checklists, and 2 forms related to payment processes. A total of 28 staff members from the Bursar’s Office participated, comprising 11 officers and 17 assistant accountants who are directly involved in financial management and documentation.

The workshop aimed to review existing documents that are approaching their five (5)-year revision cycle. In addition, refinement efforts were undertaken to ensure that all documents remain relevant, clear, and compliant with current requirements. Emphasis was also placed on improving work processes, particularly those involving the utilisation and management of internal resource allocations, to enhance efficiency and systematic implementation.

Through this workshop, it is hoped that all ISO payment documents will be updated in a more structured manner, thereby supporting continuous improvement in the quality of service delivery by the Bursar’s Office. Furthermore, the workshop also served as a platform for knowledge and experience sharing among the staff involved.
