15 November 2024, Serdang – A total of 62 officers from the Bursar's Office attended the 2024 ISO Document Review and Amendment Workshop held at Balai Minda, Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College. The workshop aimed to update all financial procedures, guidelines, and documents in line with changes to procedures and the implementation of the new financial system, Putra Finance, which began in January 2024.

The procedures and processes involved included:

• Procedure for Payment Without Purchase Order

• Procedure for Salary, Allowance & Loan Payments

• Procedure for Advances, Corporate Cards, and Claims

• Procedure for Payments to Suppliers

• Budgeting Process

• Accounting Process

• Procurement Process

• Revenue and Generation Process

• Asset Process

It is hoped that the updates to the ISO documents used at the Bursar's Office will ensure that UPM's financial processes are carried out efficiently and effectively, in line with UPM's fifth objective: Strengthening Institutional Governance, Financial Sustainability, and Green Sustainability Practices.
