Serdang, 11 February 2023 – The participation of members of the UPM PERMATA association consisting of several Bursar Office staff in the bowling tournament at the weekend did not disappoint this department when 3 of the staff took the top 3 places in the championship. The 2023 Jewel Bowling Tournament held on February 11, 2023, at 11 am at the Garden Bowl, Superbowl, Bangi Getaway saw as many as twenty groups in pairs from various Responsibility Centers competing to grab the prizes and trophies on offer. The Bursar's Office was represented by Ms. Nor Azima bt. Malek, Siti Harlizah bt. Rahman, Nur Maizurida bt. Ibrahim, Fazrina bt. Rosli, Suzanawati bt. Ali and retired staff Pn. Siti Eshah bt. Othman. The tournament is conducted in women's pairs with other PTJs at UPM.
The representative from the Bursar's Office has performed brilliantly and secured the top spot in the tournament. The first place champion is Nur Maizurida Ibrahim, the second place is Ms. Nor Azima Malek and third place was won by Fazrina Rosli. Their victory was celebrated with their partner players from other PTJ. Based on the pin collection throughout the tournament, Mrs. Nor Azima Malek, has managed to capture the highest collection of pins and was also crowned as the Overall Champion.
