SERDANG – 4 April 2023: The UPM Bursar’s Office has conducted training for the use of the new financial system, the Government Resource Planning (GRP) System, which began on 4 April 2023 and will continue until 18 May 2023. The purpose of this training is to prepare staff for the ‘live’ implementation of the system, expected to begin in July 2023.
All Bursar’s Office staff are required to attend the training sessions based on the specified modules. Among the modules covered are:
General Ledger, Project Costing, Payroll, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Fixed Asset, Front End Receipting, Budget Control, Claim and Advance, Loan, Investment, Cash Book, Student Accounting System (SAS), and Purchasing.
The GRP system training is conducted in the Alpha computer lab (IDEC) and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’s computer lab. The training is ongoing and will resume after the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holiday.
