Serdang, 24 April 2025 – A joyful and warm atmosphere filled the lobby of the Bursar’s Office as the Bursar’s Sports and Welfare Club (KSKB) successfully organized the UPM Bursar Megaraya Celebration 2025, held concurrently with other departments (PTJs) across the university in line with the UPM-level celebration. The event, which ran from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, was made even livelier with visits from staff across UPM departments, embracing this year’s Megaraya spirit of mutual visits and shared festivity.

With the theme “Festive, Friendly & United,” the celebration not only highlighted the beauty of Hari Raya Aidilfitri traditions but also reinforced camaraderie among UPM staff. The lobby was beautifully decorated the day before, on 23 April 2025, in a traditional village celebration theme, enhanced with a creative photo booth that added to the festive cheer.

The event began with a recitation of prayers, followed by a welcoming speech from the KSKB Chairperson. This was followed by remarks from Madam Izariahwati Mohd Isa, the Bursar, who expressed her deepest appreciation to the organizing committee for making the event a success. She also extended Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings and sincere apologies ("maaf zahir dan batin") to all staff, encouraging everyone to celebrate joyfully while strengthening the family-like bond among members of the Bursar’s Office.

In conjunction with the celebration, a variety of engaging activities were held, including:

• A “Guess the Beverage Can Arrangement” contest
• Ketupat Weaving Competition
• 360° Photoshoot Session

The event was further brightened by photo sessions and laughter from attendees, making it a memorable occasion for all involved. More than just a festive celebration, the event served as an effective platform to cultivate a positive work culture and a strong spirit of unity among the UPM community.

Megaraya Bursar 2025 is a reflection of UPM’s continued commitment to fostering noble values such as unity, appreciation, and well-being within the workplace.
