21 October 2024, Serdang - The Bursar's Office has undergone a Recertification Audit by SIRIM for the scope of QMS ISO 9001: 2015 on 21 October 2024 (Monday) located in the Main Meeting Room of the Bursar's Office. SIRIM's auditor this time is Puan Sarasvathy A/P Sundara Pathar. The audit started with a welcome speech by Puan Izariahwati Mohd Isa, UPM Bursar and was followed by a brief briefing about the Bursar's Office delivered by Mr. Yusri Hashim, Senior Deputy Treasurer, also Deputy Management Representative of the Bursar's Office. The briefing in the morning was attended by Puan Bursar, Head of Division, officers and staff of the Bursar's Office.
Mrs. Sarasvathy then gave a brief briefing on the day's audit progress. The audit started by looking at the Bursar's Office Customer Charter then followed by customer satisfaction, procurement process, asset management, revenue management and student finance as well as risk management at the Bursar's Office. The auditor also looks at the internal audit process and the effectiveness of the actions that have been taken. Overall, the audit process went smoothly with the cooperation of all officers and staff of the Bursar's Office. The auditor has carried out a comprehensive audit and has also given reprimands and advice to the officers and staff of the Bursar's Office.
The audit process on the day ended in the afternoon with a discussion of the findings by the auditor and a question and answer session based on the audit findings. The discussion session was also attended by Mrs. Bursar, Head of Division, officers and staff of the Bursar's Office. All present agree with the findings of the audit and will take appropriate action and attention. At the end of the session, Puan Bursar also expressed her gratitude to the auditors for the advice and suggestions that have been given and is committed to continuously improving the management of service quality in the Bursar's Office in the future
