VISIT AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING SESSION BY UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA (UPM) SERDANG

SERDANG – 13 June 2024: The bursar office has received a visit from the Sarawak State Secretary's Office and the Treasurer's Office, Sultan Idris University of Education (UPSI) to share knowledge about the procedures for managing live assets at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Also collaborating to make this visit successful was the Putra Agricultural Center (PAC), which is responsible for implementing live asset management.

A total of 24 participants from the Sarawak State Secretary's Office, representing various departments such as the State Financial Secretary's Office, Sarawak State Treasury Department, Internal Audit Unit, Sarawak Premier Department, Public Service Digitalization Unit, Sarawak Forest Department, Sarawak Agriculture Department, Sarawak Veterinary Services Department, and Sarawak Forestry Corporation. Meanwhile, 5 participants from the UPSI Treasurer's Office.

This sharing session was held for 1 day from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. The opening ceremony was held at the Serdang Briefing Hall, Putra Chancellor's Building, and all participants were briefed on the procedures for managing live assets at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Subsequently, in the afternoon, participants were taken to visit the Dairy Cattle Unit, Deer Farm, Beef Cattle Farm, and ICoE, Farm Fresh at Farm 16.

It is hoped that this knowledge sharing session will be beneficial to all participants.
