BUDGET MANAGEMENT AND STUDENT FINANCIAL DIVISION

1. University Operational Budget Management

  1. Coordinate the annual preparation and planning of the university’s operational budget.
  2. Prepare analysis and reports related to budget allocation and utilization.
  3. Monitor PTJ expenditures to ensure that spending aligns with approved allocations and the university’s financial planning.
  4. Assist in the preparation of financial projections and periodic budget reviews.

 

2. Coordination of PTJ Operational Allocations

  1. Provide advisory services to Responsibility Centres (PTJ) on the management of operational allocations.
  2. Coordinate requests for additional allocations or budget adjustments based on current needs.
  3. Ensure that allocation distribution is carried out systematically and in compliance with university financial policies and circulars.

 

3. Management of Student Sponsorships, Loans, and Scholarships

  1. Manage payment claims to sponsoring agencies related to students’ tuition fees.
  2. Receive and record payments from sponsoring agencies on behalf of students.
  3. Process payments for student loans, scholarships, or financial assistance in accordance with approved provisions.
  4. Ensure that student sponsorship records are consistently updated and reconciled with university records.

 

4. Management of Student Financial Records and Ledger

  1. Maintain and update student financial records in the university’s financial system.
  2. Monitor the status of tuition fee payments, sponsorships, loans, and student financial assistance.
  3. Perform periodic reviews and reconciliation of student ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial records.

 

5. Support for Major University Activities Involving Students

  1. Provide financial support and coordinate payment systems during major university activities such as new and returning student registration.
  2. Assist in financial management related to the Convocation Ceremony.
  3. Support financial matters related to the implementation of Campus Elections.
  4. Coordinate other financial matters involving students in accordance with university policies.
